Inês Direito, a researcher at the Centre for Mechanical Technology and Automation (TEMA) of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DEM), has been appointed to represent the European continent on the Governing Board of the Research in Engineering Education Network (REEN).
Inês Direito has been appointed to a three-year term (2025-2027) on the Governing Board of the Research in Engineering Education Network REEN. REEN is an international network of academics whose mission is to promote and disseminate good practices in the field of engineering education research on different continents. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the European Society for Engineering Education (SEFI).
REEN recently organized the virtual forum "Building Engineering Education Research (EER) Communities Across the World". The session can be viewed on the YouTube channel at this link.
The Research in Engineering Education Symposium (REES) conference - "Transforming Engineering Education: Breaking Boundaries of Research and Practice" - will be held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, from September 29th to October 3rd.
