Description

The LEICA DMi8 is a research-grade inverted optical microscope equipped with a high-sensitivity fluorescence system, ideal for observing biological samples, live cells, tissues, and materials with fluorescent markers.

The DMi8 supports image acquisition in brightfield, phase contrast, fluorescence, and other advanced contrast techniques, adapting to a wide range of observation and analysis protocols.

Key Applications:

  • Fluorescence microscopy for labeling proteins, DNA, RNA, or cellular structures

  • Real-time observation of live cells

  • Studies of cell–substrate and cell–cell interactions

  • Analysis of materials with photoluminescent or fluorescent properties

The system is complemented by a high-resolution digital camera and image acquisition and analysis software, supporting research in biotechnology, life sciences, pharmacology, and materials science.
