Mónica Rodrigues is a PhD student in Energy Systems & Climate Change at the University of Aveiro. She has a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Applications in the field of Statistics and Optimization from the University of Aveiro (2018) and a bachelor's degree in Mathematics (2017), granted by the same institution. Her main scientific interests are related to smart and sustainable mobility and transport optimization, with a major focus on the implementation of autonomous and low-carbon (road) vehicles.

Since 2021, she is a research fellow in CISMOB - Cooperative Information platform for low carbon and sustainable mobility (PGI01611), an INTERREG Europe Programme. Previously, between 2019 and 2021, she worked in InFLOWence project (POCI-01-0145-FEDER-029679), participating in several conferences, seminars and workshops, as well as collaborating in publications.
