Elisabete Ferreira has a MSc degree in Mathematics and Applications with specialization in Technological and Business Mathematics in 2010 from the University of Aveiro, Portugal. She has been developing research work on parameter identification, numerical simulation through finite element applying statistical methods, and nonlinear optimization. Actually, her research is focused on traffic, emissions, and safety modeling; and evaluating traffic-related impacts using integrated assessment models with a special focus on environmental and safety components. Elisabete Ferreira enrolled in the Doctoral Program of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Aveiro (Portugal) in April 2021. She has 1 chapter of books, 8 articles in scientific journals, 12 articles in conference journals, 1 website, 18 lecture-speech in conferences/events, and 4 poster presentations. She participates and/or participated in 7 projects. She has received 1 award and/or honor.
