Currently, she is a researcher at the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DEM-TEMA) of the University of Aveiro. Previously, she served as a Senior Electrical Engineer at EFACEC and as a Professor at the Institute of Engineering of Coimbra (ISEC/IPC), where she taught in higher technical courses. She also held teaching positions in the undergraduate programs in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of São Paulo (EESC/USP) and at the Central Paulista University Center (UniCeP), where she was an Associate Professor. She has worked as a Reviewer and Curator of educational materials in the field of Electromagnetism for the Kroton Group. As a guest researcher at the University of Coimbra and at the Institute of Systems and Robotics (Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering), she contributed to projects related to Industrial Product Development, Digitalization, Industry 4.0, Zero-Defect Manufacturing, and Sensing Technologies. She is currently pursuing research within the Doctoral Program in Transport Systems jointly offered by the Universities of Porto, Lisbon, and Coimbra, under the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). Her current work focuses on Signaling, Safety, and Industrial Product Development for Railway Systems. She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (EESC/USP), with research focused on High-Voltage Power Systems, Industrial Product Development, and Magneto-Piezoelectric Sensors. She also earned a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, where she specialized in Electromagnetism, Electronic Device Development, and Optical Tweezers. Additionally, she holds an MBA in People and Project Management from ESALQ/USP; and a Specialization in Higher Education Teaching from São Luís College. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Bahia (IFBA), with emphasis on Electronics, Electrical Systems, Automation, and Control.
