Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (2025) and Integrated Master’s (2020) from the University of Aveiro, where he also served as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Mathematics. Currently holds a Post-Doctoral research grant within the ILLIANCE industrial R&D project, continuing a sustained track record of engagement in large-scale industrial cooperation projects. He has played research roles in both the ILLIANCE and Augmented Humanity projects (PhD Fellow), contributing to the development of advanced industrial automation systems. His main research focus is Automation, with particular emphasis on Industrial IoT and Machine Learning applications in manufacturing contexts. He has published seven journal articles, three conference articles, and one book chapter, and has received three academic awards. His work often explores themes such as Edge Computing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Maintenance, and Industry 4.0/5.0.
