As an under-graduated student (1996-2001), I carried out research and technical work at the Laboratories of Physicochemical Modification of Cellulose, of Thermodynamics of Organic Substances and of Physical Chemistry of Solids (Research Institute for Physical Chemical Problems of the Belarus State University). I graduated in Chemistry (thesis title: Ionic Transport In Solid Solutions Based on Strontium Ferrite) by the Belarus State University (Minsk, Belarus) in 2001. During 2002-2005, I was a PhD student at the Department of Materials Engineering and Ceramics (DEMaC, University of Aveiro, Portugal) under supervision of Dr. Vladislav Kharton and Prof. Dr. Fernando Marques. After completing my PhD degree (thesis title: Novel iron-containing materials with fast oxygen ionic transport) in Materials Science and Engineering in March 2006, I carried out a Post-doctoral fellowship during April - December 2006, within the project POCI/CTM/58570/2004 (New ceramic membranes for synthesis gas production), under supervision of Dr. Vladislav Kharton and Prof. Dr. Jorge Frade, also at DEMaC. In the same year (2006), I have got a Post-doctoral grant (Development of nano- and micro-scale protective films for silicate-based solid oxide fuel cells, SFRH / BPD / 28913 / 2006) in a competitive call launched by FCT (Foundation for Science and Technology, Portugal) and carried out this Post-doctoral fellowship during 2007-2012 at the Department of Mechanical Engineering (University of Coimbra, Portugal), under supervision of Prof. Dr. Albano Cavaleiro. In 2012, I have got a Post-doctoral grant (Novel oxide materials for oxygen storage and multifunctional nano-structured catalysts on their basis, SFRH / BPD / 87472 / 2012) in a competitive call launched by FCT and started to perform its tasks on 01/03/2013 at DEMaC of the University of Aveiro under supervision of Dr. Vladislav Kharton. During these years (2002-2013), I participated in 8 R&D projects (4 national and 4 international). In 2013, I was informed that I have got an Auxiliary Researcher position in a FCT Investigator Programme 2012 competitive call. Therefore, Post-doctoral fellowship was stopped on 30/06/2013, and the Auxiliary Researcher contract started on 01/07/2013. I worked as an Auxiliary Researcher at the Centre for Mechanical Technology and Automation (TEMA), Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Aveiro, until 30/06/2018. From 01/09/2018 to 30/04/2019, I carried out a Post-doctoral fellowship within the project PTDC/CTM-ENE/6319/2014 (Bio-High - Upgrading biogas to high H/C ratio synthetic fuels), at TEMA, under supervision of Dr. Duncan Fagg. From 01/05/2019 to 30/04/2021, I worked as a Doctorate Researcher within the project POCI-01-0145-FEDER-032241 (GAP - Next Generation, Anhydrous Proton conductors working in the intermediate 300-600ºC temperature range), at TEMA, under supervision of Dr. Duncan Fagg. Since 2014, I participated in 3 and coordinated 1 national R&D project: Phase transformations, microstructural, compositional and texture effects in nano-structured perovskite-related oxide materials for oxygen storage, catalytic and electrode applications (IF/00280/2012/CP0172/CT0006). As coordinator of this project, I supervised one Post-graduate, two Master and four Post-doctoral fellowships. The total publication track record shows 108 publications, being senior author in 22 of them, and h-index 38 (Scopus database). Also, I am a co-author of 3 granted patents (International WO/2018/154488 - 2018, US US/2019/0379009 - 2019, and European EP3586385 - 2020), and 4 provisional patents (International, European and 2 Portuguese). In 2020, I was informed that I have got an Auxiliary Researcher position in a competitive FCT Scientific Employment Stimulus - Individual Call - 3rd Edition, and since 01/05/2021 I carry out the tasks of my research project at TEMA and participate in 1 national R&D project.
